Kaleh Joosh is one of the most delicious and traditional Iranian dishes. This delicious food is prepared very quickly. This dish is also served like an abgoosht with chopped bread.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium onion
  • 4 tbsp curd
  • 1 cup of powdered walnuts
  • 3 glasses of water
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp Dried mint
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions
 

  • First, chop the onion into large pieces. Now put the onion and oil in a suitable pot. Saute the onion for 5 minutes until it turns a light golden brown color.
  • Now add turmeric and black pepper to the onion. Saute the onion with turmeric and black pepper for one minute, then add the dried mint.
  • Note that dried mint burns very quickly, so Saute it for 15 seconds. Then add the walnut powder to the pot.
  • Saute the powdered walnuts for one minute, then add 1 glass of water to the pot. Now we combine the ingredients.
  • Please wait for the water to boil, then let it boil over low heat for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, add the curd.
  • Now add 2 glasses of water and mix. Now we have to give 45 minutes for the kaleh joosh to be ready. Finally, pour the kaleh joosh into a bowl and serve with chopped bread.
